Assessing Authority
The Assessing Authority is the official entity responsible for evaluating qualifications and experience for skilled migration purposes. This assessment is often required when applying for certain Australian visas.
When you search for an occupation on Anzscosearch, the Assessing Authority is clearly shown in the occupation header. You'll also find a direct link to the official website for further details.
For some authorities, Anzscosearch provides additional information:
- TRA (Trades Recognition Australia): Includes a list of Australian qualifications relevant to the selected occupation.
- VETASSESS: Offers a direct link to the occupation-specific info sheet page, giving you an in-depth view of the assessment requirements.
Last Invitation Round Score
This shows the minimum points required for the occupation to receive an invitation in the most recent SkillSelect invitation round for the Subclass 189 (Skilled Independent) visa.
If the occupation did not receive any invitations in the latest round, it will display N/A
.
A direct link to the official source (Department of Home Affairs) is also provided for reference.
ILA (Industry Labour Agreement)
Some occupations are part of one or more Industry Labour Agreements (ILA) — special arrangements that allow employers in specific sectors to sponsor skilled overseas workers.
On Anzscosearch, if an occupation is eligible for one or more ILAs, you'll see an ILA indicator next to it.
Tip: Double-click the ILA indicator to view detailed information.
You'll get a list of Industry Labour Agreements that include the selected occupation, such as:
- The type of agreement (e.g., On-hire, Dairy, Meat, etc.)
- A direct link to the official agreement template (usually in PDF format)
- A reference link to the full list of ILA occupations
- A link to the Department of Home Affairs' ILA page for additional info
This feature helps users quickly understand alternative migration pathways available for the occupation through industry-specific agreements.
