State/Territory details

This section includes detailed eligibility criteria for each Australian state and territory, covering the following visa subclasses:

  • Visa Subclass 190 – Skilled Nominated Visa: A permanent visa requiring state/territory nomination.
  • Visa Subclass 491 – Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa: A temporary visa for skilled workers nominated by a state/territory or sponsored by an eligible relative.

For each state and territory, users can explore:

  • Specific nomination criteria applicable to their selected occupation.
  • Available nomination streams, such as:
    • Resident in the State/Territory – For applicants currently living in the nominating state.
    • Graduate Stream – For recent graduates from institutions in the state/territory.
